Implicit Bias is Heavily Implicated in School Discipline: darker skin, harsher punishment

Boys and girls suffer harsher discipline because of their skin color. For African-American girls, the darker the skin, the harsher the punishment. Stereotypes play a big role. And when the teacher is the same race as the student, the punishments are more appropriate. “Implicit” is a sad word here.
