When an organization such as the Grammys has the year-long opportunity to combat violence, it’s hard to applaud less than 2 minutes even if it’s the President of the USA making a plea. Obama isn’t an offender, but some of those in the audience are–and they’re silent, men and women. Combined with the Super Bowl promo, and its horrendous year for women associated with NFL players, lip service is just that: ephemeral and too little. Tune in next year and see what’s been accomplished. It is Up To Us.
