UN chief condemns violent racism in US #trumpracism #unracismusa

When racists mobilize, even with a permit for peaceful protest, and people who believe in inclusivity organize to let them know they are not welcome, it doesn’t take a genius to know which side holds the moral high ground and is on the side of truly democratic government. Unfortunately, the US President Trump is below average in all ways.

Violent racism, xenophobia, anti-Semitism and Islamophobia have no place in society and the world must stand up against demonstrations like the one that left a woman dead in Charlottesville, Va., over the weekend, says United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres. “We must stand up against them. Every time. Everywhere,” he said in a post on Twitter.
